It was all wonderful our Hostess/Waitress Miranda was fantastic! The atmosphere was eclectic and really cool! Very large portions and delicious! Menu has a wide variety and is absolutely huge! American, Italian, Mexican, pizza and more! We will be back! Enjoy!
Unique restaurant with an extensive menu and great value. I ordered the 3 item lunch and got a large soup, piece of lasagna, and half of a sandwich. It was huge! The decorations are great as the building has a tin ceiling with various antiques throughout. Service was fast and my server was great.
I've been to CJ Maggies several times and have really enjoyed my experience each time. They have so much on their menu from sandwiches to pizza and pasta and even nachos, we've only tried a small portion of what they have to offer. We started with the fried green beans and we got two sauces, honey mustard and ranch, and the beans were crispy but still tasted fresh - very good. For my meal, I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken and got a large portion that easily served as my meal. My partner got the Meatball sandwich that had generously sized meatballs and sauce. My mother got the fish and chips and the pieces of fish were huge! It looked like three full filets! Our server, Autumn, was nice and friendly and she made sure we got everything we needed - drinks were promptly refilled, extra sauce was provided, and our food was brought to the table fast and hot. We were all very happy with our meal and the great service. We will return again to try more of the menu!
I ordered a chicken pot pie, mash potatoes with gravy, and BBQ beans.(Very filling, very tasty)All the food that was ordered at our table looked and tasted like my grandma made it just for me. The server was kind, helpful, and prompt. The atmosphere was busy with nic-nacs so after I finished my meal I had to walk around and look at all the amazing things on the walls and rafters.
C.J. is a restaurant on main street in Buchanan with a lot of character and a small flair of Pittsburgh PA. All the food was outstanding. I personally had the Sharpsburg turkey sandwich. It was huge, stuffed with a lot of sliced turkey, loaded with lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo. The only negative was the coleslaw. It was very dry and there was a 4 upcharge not stated on the menu. When ordering the waitress presented as if it came with the meal.
Good little local restaurant to visit at with a great ambiance and vibe. The zucchini strips were delicious as was our meal. Our server was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Definitely worth a stop if you’re around town.
We were seated right away and our server was very nice and helpful, we had an issue with the bill and she quickly fixed it for us. The food was really good, and the price was good for this tour of restaurant. In the picture of my salmon, I had ate almost half of the broccoli and some of my potato before I took the picture.
Absolutely a MUST if you are a foodie who loves a wide variety on the menu, EXCELLENT customer service, and a cool little venue. C.J. Maggie's Buckhannon, you are doing the right things!!! We ordered the chips and queso for a starter and meat calzone and buffalo chicken finger sandwich for entrees. The chips were fresh and warm and the queso was soooooooo hearty and thick. The sandwich was so big my daughter made 3 sandwiches out of it, and the calzone was packed with flavor and toppings!!! Cheese lovers dream! Can't wait to get back and try other menu items.
